Nancy Cobb is an Organizational Development consultant with over 20 years in the manufacturing industry. Although most of her experience has been with Nabisco and Kraft where she was employed for 20 years, she has also worked in educational, nonprofit and service environments. While at Nabisco/Kraft she was responsible for the capital project training, working extensively with equipment vendors. Other focuses were organizational change and work redesign. Nancy Originated the Trainer Certification Program in 2002. Along with designing it she facilitates the PMMI Trainer Certification Program.
In 2001, she left Nabisco/Kraft, became a consultant to various industries, and published her first book with McGraw-Hill, called the Project Management Workbook; Field Proven Strategies for Managing Your Greatest Asset. She has a particular interest in designing and developing interventions that emphasize the value of partnership, the importance of business alignment, and the use of appreciative inquiry.
Her educational background includes a B.A. in Education from Western Illinois University and a Master's in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University.
