Retreat offers an expansive layout with an additional 300 yards of length and wider fairways, creating an open, low-profile atmosphere. The course is characterized by large Georgia pines, native oaks, and strategically placed bunkers, yet still encourages players to swing freely toward their targets.
The shotgun start is at 1:15 p.m. Please ensure you are in your cart by 1:00 p.m.Boxed lunches will be provided. Buses will depart from the hotel lobby at noon. Cost per person: $275 Club Rental: $85.00 per set.
Golf Attire Guidelines:
· Attire: Proper golf attire is mandatory. This includes collared shirts. Jeans and shorts that are more than 3 ½ inches above the knee are not permitted.
· Footwear: Shoes must be soft-soled, and golf shoes should have non-metal spikes. Sandals are not allowed.
Personal Clubs:
If you are bringing clubs, at check in, leave the golf bag with The Cloister bellman. Ask them to tag your bag to go to the Retreat Course on April 7 under the group name PMMI ELC 4-7-25.
Enjoy a day on the water with one of The Cloister’s expert captains aboard a 27-foot Rambo boat. You'll fish through marshes and along the beach, targeting species such as trout, redfish, flounder, whiting, tarpon, shark, bull redfish, and tripletail. In addition to great fishing, you'll also take in stunning views of the beautiful coastline. Arrive at the Cloister Dock by 12:45 p.m. for check-in. Be sure to grab a bit before you leave. Boats will depart promptly at 1:00 p.m. Cost per person: $200
Step up to the shooting station, taking in the stunning landscape around you. As the target comes into focus, you pull the trigger, and the clay shatters—a moment that’s equally gratifying and thrilling, whether it’s your first time or you're an experienced shooter. Shots have been flying at the historic Sea Island Shooting School since 1929. The experience begins with a safety briefing from a professional instructor, followed by hands-on shooting practice. Shuttles will depart promptly at 1:30 p.m. Cost per person: $275
Join the latest craze—Pickleball! This fun, social, and friendly sport is perfect for players of all skill levels. The rules are simple, making it easy for beginners to jump right in. Before the tournament kicks off, a Pickleball Pro will provide a 30-minute introduction to the game. Please arrive at the courts by 1:45 p.m. for check-in, after which you’ll partner up and the tournament will begin. Cost per person: $70
Attire: Cocktail attire. Men: Please wear dress pants with a button-down shirt. It is recommended men wear a jacket. A tie is not necessary. Ladies: Please wear either a dress or slacks with a blouse. No jeans or sneakers.
